What will the Client Manager role involve?

  • Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring high levels of service and technical excellence.
  • Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts, tax returns, and management accounts.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, providing advisory support on business and financial matters.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members, reviewing their work, and supporting their development.
  • Liaising with HMRC, ensuring compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance client services, including advisory and value-added offerings.

Suitable Candidate for the Client Manager vacancy:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or QBE with extensive experience in an accountancy practice).
  • Proven experience in managing client relationships within an accountancy firm.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting and tax principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear advice to clients.
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring junior team members.
