Teaching Assistant
Location: Waterlooville
Salary: £76.92-£95 per day
Start Date: September
Long Term, Full Time, Temporary to permanent

GSL are currently recruiting a passionate Teaching Assistant to join our special needs Primary school in Waterlooville. This school caters for children aged 5-11 who have who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties as well as other complex needs.

Your responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant may include:

- Working with small groups of KS1 and 2 children, through targeted interventions, to ensure all students reach their full potential.

- Building safe and secure relationships with pupils, to foster a sense of belonging.

- Creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where each child can thrive and flourish.

- Supporting children with 1:1 reading.

- Supporting children with strategies and support to regulate their emotions effectively.

- Supporting teachers in assessing student progress and providing informative feedback to pupils.

- Safeguarding will be your number one priority, ensuring the welfare of the children.

Have the right to work in the UK.

Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
