We are looking for a full-time or part timeSewing Machinist for a local manufacturing company based in Waterlooville.
We have positions for full-time staff members (40 hours per week) with flexible shifts between 7am - 5:30pm (depending on your start time preference).
Paying 11.44 per hour / 23795 (based on a 40 hour full time position) Annually with flexible hours for the right person, who ideally has a good level of previous Machinist / Sewing experience.
Main duties:
Production of products from start to finish to a high standard.
Production of patterns and plots are kept up to date.
Testing of new products
Monitor machinery maintenance and servicing.
Ensure the production of machine room goods meets the customer deadlines.
Working on several different machines. (Twin Needle, Straight Stitch, Zig Zag, Overlocker, Chain Stitch)
Bagging and labelling of goods.
Must have good communication skills.
Additional duties:
To keep the working area neat at all times.
Computer work for labels
Using a Production Management system for booking out goods
