As the Quality Manager, you will take ownership of the company's Quality function, overseeing the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 standards while championing a shift in culture to a proactive, data-driven approach to quality. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be instrumental in crafting strategies that deliver right-first-time outcomes, strengthen root cause analysis, and instill a robust culture of continuous improvement.

Description

  • Develop and lead the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with ISO9001 and other industry standards.
  • Drive cultural transformation by coaching and mentoring teams, embedding quality principles across all levels.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, reduce defects, and enhance product reliability.
  • Utilise data analysis to identify trends, prioritize improvements, and communicate performance metrics to leadership.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a Quality leadership role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Expertise in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and related standards.
  • Experience managing audits and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement initiatives, preferably with Lean or Six Sigma certification.

Desirable

  • Experience in bespoke, engineer-to-order manufacturing or construction.
  • ERP system implementation experience.
