Our client is now recruiting for an experienced Legal Assistant to join its expanding conveyancing team in Waterlooville, Hampshire.

My client is a Lexcel accredited & reputable multi-service Law Firm covering the South Coast.

The practice is looking for an individual with drive and ambition, who can work on their own initiative as well as in a team, take ownership and manage their own casework, with an emphasis on excellent written and verbal communication.

The Role & Responsibilities:

• Carrying out all required administrative duties on conveyancing matters• Opening files electronically and setting up paper files including conflict & ID checks for client.• Prepare correspondence and documents using digital dictation, closing, storage and retrieval of files• Liaising with clients and third parties during the course of the file.

Person Specification:

• The successful candidate would have knowledge and experience in this area of law• Able to communicate in a professional manner with internal and external contacts• Commitment to providing excellent client care• Excellent IT skills to include Outlook, Word and Excel• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task• Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to changing requirements• Team-focus with a flexible "can do" and collaborative approach to working with others, but also able to work alone.• Confidence to communicate with all levels in order to manage expectations and maintain effective working relationships
