We are seeking an Factory Supervisor to oversee production activities across our double day shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of operatives, ensuring production targets are met, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily production operations during allocated shifts.
  • Ensure that production targets are achieved in terms of quality, output, and efficiency.
  • Lead and motivate a team of operators, providing guidance and training
  • Monitor and enforce health & safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with other supervisors, maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to ensure smooth handovers and continuity.
  • Investigate and resolve any production issues or downtime with minimal disruption.
  • Maintain accurate production records and shift reports.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote a culture of lean manufacturing.
  • Ensure equipment and work areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and order.
  • Manage absenteeism, holidays, and disciplinary procedures in line with HR policies.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts:

  • Early Shift: 06:00 - 14:00
  • Late Shift: 14:00 - 22:00

Full training given on products and procedures.

This is a temp to permanent role for training purposes. Salary ranges from £12.70 to £13.70 per hour and is paid weekly.
