About the Role:

As Projects Director, you’ll lead a division delivering complex projects (£200k–£5.5m) profitably, on time, and with exceptional quality. From strategy to execution, you’ll oversee the division’s operations while ensuring the highest standards in safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Working closely with the senior leadership team, this role offers a clear pathway to General Manager or Managing Director positions for the right person.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the Projects Division, managing internal teams and external contractors.
  • Ensure profitable, timely delivery of all projects using a structured methodology.
  • Provide high-level oversight of major projects, focusing on financial, commercial, and HSQE aspects.
  • Support bid preparation for major tenders, bringing a consultative approach to complex challenges.
  • Play a key role in shaping the company’s strategic growth objectives.

    About You:
    • Proven experience in construction project delivery, ideally in controlled environments (e.g., data centres, cleanrooms etc).
    • Strong leadership and commercial acumen with a results-driven mindset.
    • Experience working directly with clients, or with main contractors in sectors like security doors, HVAC, fire stopping, or cladding is advantageous.
    • Energetic, humble, and people-oriented – able to inspire and lead teams.
