Secondary Supply Teachers - Waterlooville

At Engage, we’re working with a school in Waterlooville to recruit full-time and part-time supply teachers that can join the team in improving the attainment of all pupils. This is a great opportunity to join a close-knit team and make a real difference to the lives of your pupils.

About the role

You will be leading lessons and covering in the absence of class teachers for varying subjects at a school in Waterlooville beginning immediately. You will receive training provided by the school and Engage Education. This role has no planning and marking. The school is supportive and accessible by public transport. They focus on ensuring that students are taught a broad and balanced curriculum as well as ensuring that they leave with an array of skills to help them in their adult lives.

About you
  • Experience working with students aged 11-16

  • Flexibility to work in different subjects

  • Confident managing behaviour

  • An ability to build rapport with students

  • Have a fun but firm presence

  • An interest in education

We welcome applications from candidates with any level of experience, although previous experience of working with students with challenging behaviour will be an advantage.
