About the Role:

We're on the hunt for a dynamic Transport Administrator who can juggle multiple priorities and still keep their cool. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves spinning plates (metaphorically... although actual plate spinning is a bonus), this could be the perfect role for you. You

You'll be working closely with drivers, clients, and internal teams to ensure everything runs like clockwork. From dispatching drivers and coordinating collections to updating systems and keeping clients happy. Saturday hours are worked from home and can vary from 30 minutes to 3 hours (approx). Working knowledge of Pallet Network is essential for this role.



Key Responsibilities as a Transport Administrator:

  • Dispatch & Coordination: Allocate and dispatch drivers efficiently, ensuring optimal route planning and timely deliveries.

  • Run Planning: Planning pallets onto HGV Vehicles, including pallet network delivered

  • CRM Management: Accurately input job details into our CRM system, keeping everything logged and up-to-date.

  • Delivery Checks: Monitor delivery progress, resolve any hiccups, and make sure everything arrives on time.

  • POD Documentation: Ensure all Proof of Delivery (POD) documents are collected, recorded, and filed correctly.

  • Client Communication: Be the first point of contact for clients - answering queries, updating them on deliveries, and generally being helpful and awesome.

  • Quotations: Prepare and send quotes for transport services, ensuring competitive pricing and clear communication.

  • Collections: Arrange collections with both clients and drivers, coordinating the logistics with precision.

  • Admin Duties: Handle day-to-day administrative tasks - emails, spreadsheets, phone calls - with speed and accuracy.



About You:

  • Proven experience in a transport distribution background is essential.

  • Pallet Newtwork experience is essential.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to multitask like a pro.

  • Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

  • Able to stay calm under pressure and solve problems on the fly.

  • Knowledge of PODs, delivery tracking, and quoting processes is a big plus.
