Audit Senior Job Vacancy

Are you a hard-working and personable auditor, perhaps ACCA/ACA qualified or maybe you’re part-qualified or a finalist?

Do you have at least one year of UK external audit experience in practice?

If you have a positive outlook, some experience of reviewing the work of a junior team and you’re ready and excited to embark upon a new career opportunity in audit, this Audit Senior job in Watford could be your next professional step.

The role will involve supervising audits and teams at client locations, assigning tasks to team members, monitoring their progress, and offering guidance as needed. Alongside the review of the work of junior colleagues the post holder will also provide supervision and on-the-job training for other students as necessary.

Job Purpose
  • Provide audit support and assistance to a portfolio of clients across a variety of sectors.
  • Design and lead audits from planning through to completion, with minimal senior input.
  • Work with a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants/auditors to ensure audits are conducted to standards and on time.
  • Using accounting software, prepare and finalise audit files in readiness for review.
  • Monitor and control job budgets ensuring that audits are completed on time and within budget.
  • Support junior auditors by reviewing work and knowledge sharing.
