Ivy Rock Partners is proud to be working with a highly regarded and forward-thinking multi-academy trust in their search for an interim Finance Officer with a focus on accounts payable. This trust is dedicated to providing exceptional education throughout its schools and is seeking a committed finance professional to become a valued member of their central finance team.
This role is based in Watford with 4 days in the office and 1 day work from home.
The Role:As a Finance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the trust’s financial processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a meaningful mission in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the full accounts payable cycle, including verifying and posting invoices.
- Preparing and processing payment runs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Reconciling supplier accounts and promptly resolving discrepancies.
- Performing regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Ensuring adherence to internal financial policies and best practices.
- Delivering exceptional service to internal stakeholders and external suppliers by addressing finance-related queries effectively.

- Proven experience in finance.
