GROUP REPORTING ACCOUNTANT

£55,000 -£60,000 plus bonus and hybrid and other company specific benefits

Based in Watford Hertfordshire

Our client are currently seeking a Group Reporting Accountant to join their Group External Reporting and Control team.

What you'll do:

As a Group Reporting Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in providing insightful analysis of month-end performance, identifying key variances, underlying causes, risks and opportunities to key stakeholders. You will take full ownership of management accounts for holding companies, prepare and post journals, review balance sheet reconciliations prepared by the shared service centre, assist and supply information to auditors for annual audit. Your commitment to continuous improvement will be crucial in driving enhancements in financial reporting processes.

* Provide month end reporting and analysis for the Head office

* Take full ownership of management accounts for holding companies

* Support on the Strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting for the Group's holding companies

* Communicate daily with subsidiaries, handling queries and raising enquiries on financial submissions received

* Assist in preparation of periodical consolidated reports and commentary to financial information

* Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting processes
