As part of their growth plans, they are seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join their team. Key Responsibilities:
As a Management Accountant, you will work closely with the Finance Director and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and contribute to the companys financial health. Your key responsibilities will include:
Cash Flow Forecasting: Managing cash flow forecasts to ensure the companys financial liquidity and optimal resource allocation.
Monthly Management Accounts: Preparing and delivering accurate monthly accounts, offering detailed analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
Budgeting: Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and ongoing budget monitoring to ensure alignment with company goals.
Credit Management: Managing the credit control process, working closely with customers to maintain positive cash flow and reduce credit risks.
Collaboration with the Purchasing Department: Working with the purchasing team to ensure costs are tracked, products are accurately categorized, and financial data is aligned with operational objectives.
Product Categorization: Ensuring products are properly categorized to maintain clear financial records.
Reporting & Analysis: Providing financial analysis to support the Finance Director in decision-making processes and growth strategies.
Key Requirements:
AAT Qualification (or equivalent)
Proven experience in management accounting, particularly in cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and monthly account preparation
Strong understanding of credit management and working with customers on the credit side
Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments, including purchasing, to align financial goals
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Experience within the automotive industry is desirable but not essential
