Management Accountant

Are you a qualified Management Accountant looking for a new permanent role? This position is working for a group company with reputable global brands.

Management AccountantWatford (with minimum one day per week in London) - fully office based£50,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience).Fully qualified CA or CIMA or ACCA.

Professional Experience:Minimum 3 years including management/financial accounting in commercial or with a firm of chartered accountants.Experience in using SAGE 200 or equivalent accounting package.Experience in using ERP System, Excel (advanced).Experience in working to strict deadlines, analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to coordinate with non-financial managers.Involves travel within UK and Europe.

Roles and Responsibilities:Management AccountingLiaise with sales, sourcing and operations teams. Prepare sales & margin reports and sales forecasts.Maintaining costing sheets of products.Preparation of weekly purchase order log.Review periodical stock reports, monitor optimum and efficient use of stocks and warehouses.

Financial AccountingAssist FC with preparation of monthly/quarterly accounts, compliance with bank and brand owners.Variance analysis of operating expenses and take corrective action in liaison with functional managers.Preparation of weekly /quarterly cash flow statements.The scope of the roles and responsibilities may expand or be varied dependent on the needs of the company’s business to adapt to changing market conditions.
