REED Practice are seeking a dedicated Personal Tax Senior to join a practice based in Watford. This role involves managing a portfolio of clients, working with directors and participating in all aspects relating to personal tax.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Manage and grow a small portfolio of tax clients, with the aim to expand through networking and new client acquisition.
  • Engage in IHT planning, probate, international aspects, complex tax client management, compliance work, CGT Tax, Trust, and Tax advisory work.
  • Collaborate with directors and marketing to leverage contacts and grow your network.
  • Innovate and contribute to decision-making processes within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • CTA qualification (or ATT with aspirations to study CTA).
  • Essential skills include attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to analyse and interpret data.
  • Consult with specialists on complex issues to ensure correct advice is given.
  • Desirable skills include a detailed knowledge of all relevant taxation issues and a good working knowledge of tax areas relevant to the firm’s clients.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications used internally.
