Our client, a large Hospitality business and leader in its field, is partnered with Aila to recruit a Senior Management Accountant on a permanent basis.About the Company:

The Role:The primary objective of this role is to deliver an effective month end close process, whilst also business partnering with sites, adding value through insightful analysis, and taking a leading role in strategic support on various projects such as new venues, profitability and long term investment appraisals.This is a key role within the month-end finance team of a business with an excellent history of success and impressive growth projections.Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with venue managers to ensure all assumptions are fully owned and initiatives can be tracked
  • Continuously improve the Budget process including seeking automation and integration with reporting systems
  • Creation of the monthly board deck, summarising period performance through insightful narrative
  • Support budget holders in their understanding of actual periodic costs
  • Provide financial support to managers and ensure compliance in accounting
  • Preparation of financial information, including the periodic management accounts
  • Review trends and challenge current performance within the wider business
  • Prepare insightful commentary on performance (vs Budget/Forecast & Last Year) with reference to P&L drivers supporting the monthly Board report.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified Accountant with at least 12 months’ post qualification experience
  • Experience working within a highly diverse multi-site organisation
  • Highly analytical with the ability to interpret & explain data
  • Results driven individual that takes pride in delivering to deadlines
  • Advanced Excel, with strong commercial business partnering skills
