Accounts Assistant - Top 50 firm Watford, Hertfordshire (Hybrid) £28,000 to £40,000 Butler Rose, public practice is delighted to be supporting our client, a prestigious Central Watford based award winning Top 50 firm of accountants, establish almost 100 years' ago, that are now eager to appoint an AAT or ACCA/ACA studying Accounts Assistant / Technician to complement the existing team. Role Requirements - Preparation of year-end accounts and quarterly VAT returns for Limited Companies, Sole Traders, and Partnerships. Preparation of personal and corporation tax returns. Monthly and quarterly management accounting using Xero, Sage and QuickBooks. Accurate data entry input and updating Processing Journals and finalising Accounts. Managing accounts work by others including outsource providers Person Requirements - AAT Level 3+ or ACCA / ACA studying or QBE with at least 3+ years practical experience gained working for a prominent UK based accountancy practice in the capacity of accounts assistant, trainee accountant or semi-senior. Proficient in the use of various accounting software such as XERO, Quickbooks and Sage.
