Job Description: Commercial Insurance Account Executive

Location: Watford (Hybrid Working)

Salary: £50,000 - £90,000 (Basic Salary)

Commission: Generous commission structure

Book of Business: £100k to manage

New Business Target: £50k every year

Contract Type: Permanent

Overview: Join a leading broker in Watford as a Commercial Insurance Account Executive. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to manage a modest client portfolio while developing new business opportunities. Inherit existing clients and contribute to expanding the portfolio over a 2-5 year period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Portfolio Management: Manage and grow a modest client portfolio, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

  • New Business Development: Develop new business opportunities to expand the portfolio over a 2-5 year period.

  • Relationship Building: Maintain and strengthen existing relationships, ensuring client retention and growth.

  • Industry Engagement: Engage with a wide range of industries and products, including Property, Leisure, Retail, Manufacturing, Tech, and Risks.

  • Business Targets: Meet or exceed new business targets, with the goal of building a solid book over a 3-5 year period.

  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and advice to clients on their insurance needs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive or in a similar role within Commercial Insurance.

  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to develop new business.

  • Experience in managing a client portfolio and meeting sales targets.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
