You'll have the chance to develop a deep understanding of business processes and support the company's adoption of process management. What you'll do:As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a crucial role in supporting the business by building and documenting procedures across finance administration streams. Your primary focus will be on Purchase-to-Pay (PTP) processes. You will develop a comprehensive understanding of the business process and assist in its adoption as part of embedding and developing the process framework. In addition to your day-to-day responsibilities, you will provide regular support to a broad range of work including analysing business controls and their effectiveness in new ways of working post project symphony.

  • Assist with documentation of processes including process flows, QRGs, SOPs, walkthroughs, and standard business templates.
  • Support the development of business processes, drive adoption, provide support during process implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with local teams across the business to enhance their understanding and application of processes.
  • Provide ongoing technical support for process mapping activities.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide support within the finance department (PTP) pre and post go-live of new ERP/Financial system.

What you bring:The ideal candidate for this Accounts Payable Subject Matter Expert role brings a wealth of experience in process mapping and tooling. You are comfortable working in a strong control environment with SOX or SOP requirements. Your ability to quickly adopt new tools, platforms, and technology will be key to your success in this role. You possess strong technological system skills including proficiency in MS Office Suite. Your ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision sets you apart from others. Above all else, you are an enthusiastic collaborator with a hands-on/can-do attitude.

  • Experience in process mapping and process tooling is essential.
  • Basic experience in a strong control working environment SOX and/or SOP requirements.
  • Ability to adopt new tools, platforms, and technology in support of process excellence.
  • Strong technological system skills and computer literacy (MS Office Suite).
  • Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision.
