Here at Every Step Recruitment, Finance & Accountancy, we are excited to be working alongside a highly reputable and successful organisation, who are looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Clerk on an ongoing temporary basis with immediate effect.
Please note, this is an office-based role, Monday to Friday.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Matching and coding high-volume purchase order invoices
- Dealing with supplier queries via email, telephone and letter
- Processing VAT returns
- Payment runs, processing CHAPS and BACS payments
- Allocating payments
- System maintenance: ensuring all records are kept up-to-date
- Bank reconciliations
You will have the following skills and attributes:
- Ability to work at speed and accuracy
- Good team player with a positive "can do" attitude
- Experience working within a fast-pace, high-volume Accounts Payable/ Purchase Ledger Team
