Your new companyA leading organisation is seeking a Business Analyst Manager to join their IT team. As a Business Analyst Manager, you will oversee the delivery of the business analysis function, processes, and procedures. You will build and maintain a motivated team, assess existing business processes and problems, define and document business requirements and processes, shape opportunities, and ensure that the technology/solution is effectively delivered and embedded to meet business goals. Your new role

  • Manage Business Analysts' performance, workload, development, and KPIs.
  • Manage a portfolio of analysis work as well as the team.
  • Define business problems and primary objectives of new projects.
  • Identify, validate, and challenge functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Perform feasibility studies, impact assessments, gap analysis, and contribute to the business case.
  • Run workshops, formal and informal meetings for information gathering.
  • Build effective relationships with stakeholders, sponsors, and workstream heads to elicit requirements and represent the benefit IT can bring to business.
  • Proactively handle all incidents, problems, and change requests within the IT strategic support tool according to the IT Service Management Policy.
  • Assist the PMO Manager with allocating and maintaining the Business Analysts' project portfolio.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop Business Analysts.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Prior experience leading and managing a team of business analysts
  • IIBA or BCS Foundation qualification in Business Analysis.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Skilled in modelling processes techniques (BPMN, Workflows, Swim lanes, Sequence diagrams).
  • Experience in data modelling and interface mapping.
  • Project Management experience.
  • ITIL Foundation qualified.
  • Knowledge of Waterfall methodologies.
  • Participative style when working with others and the ability to build strong, productive team relationships.
