Established for almost 100 years, this specialist manufacturer has a world-wide presence and is responsible for the manufacture of ingredients used in every day products. With a "people first" approach, they believe in empowerment and teamwork, resulting in exceptional staff satisfaction and retention.

They are now looking to add an experienced Business Strategy, Analysis and Develoopment Manager who also a chemical background, to work alongside their Business Director to develop and implement business strategies across the business.

This is a permanent, hybrid role attending the office 3 days per week.

If you are degree educated (Chemistry or Chem Eng); confident in business mapping / benefits; have exceptional interpersonal skills, together with first class IT skills (SAP BPC desirable); we need to be talking to us.

Pay and Benefits:

Salary: Up to £69,000 plus bonus.

RoleType: Permanent, hybrid (3 days in the office)

Hours: 37 per week

Benefits: 7.5% pension; life assurance (8x salary); access to GP services.

Holidays: 25 days, rising to 26 after 5 years and the ability to buy more.

Travel: up to 50% UK and European travel

The Job:

Working alongside the Business Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the business
  • Develop an maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Set, execute and analyse strategic plans for volume and profitability
  • Assist in the preparation and updating of price lists
  • Ensure sales teams are working from the most accurate data

About You:

You will already be working within a commercial role within a chemical related environment, you will also need:

  • Degree educated (Chemistry / Chem Eng); an MBA would be advantageous
  • Confident customer facing skills
  • Experienced in process mapping and business benefits
  • Exceptional negotiation and project management skills
  • An understanding of chemical plant and processing
  • Fluent English essential, French, and German desirable
  • First class analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent IT skills including SAP
