Facilities Coordinator - Watford

Salary: Up to £33,000 (dependent on experience)Location: Watford (Office-based, Monday - Friday, 9am-6pm)

Are you a proactive and innovative problem-solver with a passion for facilities management? My client is seeking a highly motivated Facilities Coordinator to join their team. They are a global leader in manufacturing and sustainability, partnering with some of the world's most renowned brands and retailers.

Operating in over 22 countries, they are dedicated to driving growth through exceptional service, innovative solutions and customer-focused experiences.

The Facilities Coordinator role is based in their Watford office, will see you working closely with the GM, HR and Office Management teams to support multiple sites across the UK. You will be key in improving workplace environments, driving efficiencies and ensuring compliance with health and safety and budgetary requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead facilities management with a focus on cost savings and service improvements
  • Act as the first point of contact for all facilities-related enquiries and issues
  • Oversee maintenance of essential office equipment (e.g., boilers, alarms, air-conditioning)
  • Ensure optimal use of office space and manage refurbishment projects as needed
  • Handle health and safety management, including fire safety, first aid, and compliance
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors, handling tenders for new services
  • Oversee day-to-day operations with external providers (cleaners, security, etc.)
  • Issue internal communications regarding facilities updates and notices
  • Manage property leases from start to end of tenancy agreements
  • Project manage office refurbishments and ensure smooth delivery
  • Manage over 150 company mobile phones, controlling costs and usage
  • Oversee the company fleet (around 20 vehicles) including leases, servicing and insurance
  • Organise company events, including summer and Christmas parties, seminars and conferences

What they are looking for:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in managing projects within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Strong communication skills, able to liaise effectively with staff, suppliers and vendor
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving attitude
  • Full, clean driving license

Desirable:

  • Qualification in Health & Safety at Work
  • Prior experience in facilities management or a similar role
