We are seeking a meticulous and organised individual to join our team as a Lab and Goods In/Out Assistant.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the goods in/out process, coordinating equipment calibration, and providing support for various operational and project-related tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the goods in process by logging sample details, assigning project numbers, and notifying relevant personnel.
  • Coordinate the assembly and logging of various pieces of equipment and ensure their proper storage.
  • Handle the goods out process, including logging remaining samples, drafting commercial invoices, and packaging samples for collection or destruction.
  • Oversee the calibration process by collecting equipment for calibration, updating calibration records, and verifying calibration certificates.
  • Run proactive calibration reports to ensure equipment readiness for projects.
  • Assist in general operational tasks such as building maintenance, facility upkeep, and collating training records for lab personnel.
  • Provide support for project-related tasks, including re-test quotes and housekeeping checks.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in logistics, inventory management, or similar roles.
  • Familiarity with calibration processes and equipment maintenance.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients.
  • Proficiency in using spreadsheet software and document management systems.
  • Knowledge of laboratory operations and quality standards is a plus.
