Early Years Nursery Practitioner and Senior.

We are currently looking for two new enthusiastic staff at our fabulous, outstanding rated children's day nursery and preschool in Watford. We are a beautiful setting with stunning grounds, beautifully uniquely designed classrooms with a warm and welcoming feeling for a staff and children alike.

We are a welcoming nursery who appreciate all our staff, we will continuously invest in our team to ensure they receive ongoing support, training, quarterly supervisions, annual appraisals and offer a career path with genuine long term happiness, growth and stability.

We are looking for two enthusiastic and motivated individuals with a real passion for developing young minds, who as well as bringing their own experiences to the nursery, are eager to develop their knowledge base with continued learning.

We are looking for both aSenior Lead practitioner(L3 or higher) andNursery practitioner(Level 2 or higher)

Hours:

Working over 4 or 5 days, 36 or 40hrs per week. (Happy to discuss options)

Salary is negotiable and is based on hours, experience and qualifications.

The Nursery Practitioner & Senior:

Duties:

  • Assisting with the Nursery Management in providing day to day high quality childcare.
  • Provide a positive learning environment that offers choice, experiences, independence and meets all the children needs.
  • Be able to have key person responsibility and carry out daily and individual planning.
  • Ensuring a safe, secure and caring environment for the well-being of the children.
  • Work well within a team (Lead within a team as a senior lead)

The ideal candidate will;

  • Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe.
  • Have a good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stages (EYFS).
  • Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five.
  • Be qualified at NNEB/NVQ level 2 or equivalent in childcare or at a higher level.
  • Be able to work well in a team.
