Following a successful recent hire, AW Media Recruitment are delighted to be partnering again with this leading agency who empower their clients with data-driven marketing solutions that deliver tangible results. They partner with blue chip brands and exciting start-ups to plan campaigns effectively and ensure they target the right audience to maximise performance and analyse results to optimise future campaigns for growth.

Due to continued expansion and growth they are seeking an additional Business Development Director to join their sales team. You will be responsible for winning and growing revenue across a diverse range of industry sectors, helping their clients achieve success from their marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Outreach to new prospects or existing clients you already know in the marketplace
  • Understanding the needs of a prospect
  • Developing and building relationships with key prospects and providing solutions to meet their data-driven marketing needs
  • Writing detailed and compelling proposals
  • Building an effective pipeline and forecasting accurately
  • Continual communication with the Account Management and Acquisition teams to ensure campaigns are delivered within agreed SLA's
  • Striving to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven track record in a New Business/Business Development role
  • Previous experience in a Consumer Data, Market Research or Direct Marketing Agency environment would be advantageous, but certainly not essential
  • We will consider candidates from different backgrounds including agency and client direct. Of vital importance is the ability to develop new business
  • Consultative sales approach and account management experience
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Strong negotiation and proposal writing skills
