Position: CNC Setter Operator

Salary: 30,000 - 35,000

Location: Watford

Hours: 08:00am - 16:30pm - Monday - Friday

Proactive are currently in search of a skilled CNC Setter Operator to start work immediately for a world leading aerospace manufacturing company based in Watford. This is an exciting position offering ample opportunity for progression and development.

Job Focus:

Your role as a CNC Setter will involve setting and operating on CNC Milling Machines using Heidenhain controls.

Key accountabilities:

• Working on the machining platforms, producing various components across all the major projects.
• Setting and operating CNC Mills using Heidenhain controls.
• Working to client Technical Instructions and program manuals to deliver consistent, high quality machining. across a variety of different components and product families.
• Working within a team to effectively resolve quality issues and ensure your work is being completed to plan.

Skills / Experience:

• CNC machining experience (setting and operating).
• Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Clear and demonstrated understanding of engineering drawings.
• able to work with minimal supervision (after initial 4-week training).
• Pro-active and patient individual capable of managing your time effectively.
