Taylor Stevenson are happy to announce we're working a leading precision machining company who are extremely well established with them being trading for over 80 years and and are still going strong!
They specialises in the machining components for components for industries such as the Medical, Aerospace, Telecommunications industries among many more in which they produce these component in various quantities being high and low volume!
Due to the consistent growth they're seeing year on year, they're now looking for a CNC Sliding Head Programmer to join them at their HQ!
This is a full time role with hours of 8AM - 5PM Monday to Thursday and 8AM - 1PM Fridays!
This role is paying 45k - 50k DOE!
Job duties include:
- Setting & Programming Citizen or Star Sliding Head Lathes
- Machining prototype and small to medium batch components to aerospace standards.
- Working with standard CNC materials such as stainless steel, aluminium and brass.
- Ensuring all work is completed accurately and with the required time constraints.
The type of candidate they're looking for is:
- Proven experience of setting and operating CNC Lathes to produce small to medium batch high precision components.
- Apprentice trained or Time Served
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Citizen or Star Sliding Head Experience
- Programming experience.
