The Role:
As the Head of People and Talent, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that drive business success through our most valuable asset-people. This role will form a key part of the senior executive leadership team. You will lead on all aspects of people management, including HR, talent acquisition, employee engagement, legislation, performance management, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the full people function, from recruitment and onboarding to employee development, retention, and performance management.
  • Collaborate directly with the Executive Management team and senior leadership to develop and execute people strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring a focus on attracting top talent for all roles across the business.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to people managers, coaching and mentoring direct reports and senior leadership on best talent management practices.
  • Manage a globally distributed team, providing leadership and strategic oversight of HR operations and practices across multiple regions.
  • Stay informed on all relevant employment laws and legislation, ensuring compliance and proactively advising on any potential risks.
  • Use data and best practices to develop recommendations for improving people processes, creating a positive and productive work environment.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to drive culture development, employee engagement, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Make well-informed decisions with a focus on long-term growth and organizational success.

About You:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in people management within an SME environment, including 2+ years reporting directly to executive management and being an active member of the senior executive leadership team.
  • Extensive experience in all areas of people management-HR, recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and legal compliance.
  • Proven track record in managing and leading teams across multiple regions and cultures.
  • Highly organised, driven, and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ability to coach, mentor, and lead both individuals and teams, with a focus on driving talent development and best practices.
  • Exceptional critical thinking, judgment, and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance short-term and long-term considerations in business decisions.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to develop actionable insights and recommendations from data, research, and personal expertise.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
