Position: Digital Solutions Engineer
Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated Digital Solutions Engineer to join our digital solutions team, focusing on the development and support of various applications and platforms, including SharePoint (both online and on-premises) and Power Platform products within Microsoft 365.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Incident and Problem Management:** Handle issues related to Power Platform and SharePoint, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
- **Change Management:** Participate in change management, from minor amendments and service requests to larger initiatives, like automating manual processes and designing company-wide Document Management Systems.
- **Proactive Monitoring:** Keep a close watch on Power Platform and SharePoint solutions, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively.
- **Governance and Compliance:** Manage Power Platform apps and workflows to ensure adherence to ICT policies and governance strategies, making necessary adjustments as required.
- **Workflow Development:** Build new Power Automate workflows and integrate with external tools, especially within our global Microsoft 365 environment.
- **Global Collaboration:** Collaborate with international colleagues for effective service management and relationship building.
- **Legacy Workflow Redevelopment:** Update and decommission outdated forms and workflows to align with current needs.
- **User Support and Consultation:** Provide guidance to users on Power Platform solutions, helping them define their requirements and ensuring their needs are met.
- **Knowledge Sharing:** Create and maintain user guides and support documents to improve the user experience and streamline service support.
**Candidate Requirements:**
- **Power Platform Expertise:** At least four years of experience in Power Platform support and/or development.
- **SharePoint Experience:** A minimum of four years working with SharePoint Online in either support or development roles.
- **ICT Service Environment:** At least two years in a structured, managed ICT service environment.
- **Technical Proficiency:** Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and SharePoint Online.
