What You Can Expect

  • Location - Watford (Hybrid - 1 day per week in Watford office)
  • Salary - £90,000 - £110,000

Main Responsibilities as a Head of Regulatory Assurance

  • Managing the review and updating of the strategy, planning, procedures and policies regarding regulatory assurance for a large-scale transformation programme.
  • Establishing the governance and methodology to ensure all projects operate within licence requirements.
  • Project managing the delivery of improvements to the SPPP (strategy, planning, procedures and policies) for the year.
  • Meeting with leaders across each business department to identify, report and mitigate potential risks.
  • Designing and implementing the assurance change plan to enable the business to operate within new assurance and governance frameworks.
  • Overseeing the delivery of annual regulatory assurance requirements operational governance.
  • Supporting the Chief Assurance Officer to develop the Assurance team.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Experience being hands on managing a large scale programme of work focused on transformation relating to regulatory assurance (Essential).
  • Experience changing an organisations policies, procedures or processes in relation to regulatory assurance (Essential).
  • Experience working in a regulated industry such as Financial Services, Legal, Insurance, Pensions or Utilities.
  • Experience identifying regulatory risks and introducing mitigation plans for multiple business departments.
  • Experience working with the Gambling Commission would be desirable.
  • Positive individual with a dedicated work ethic.
