CSS Recruitment and Training is seeking a Document Controller in Watford, Hertfordshire.

Role Overview:The Document Controller will support and ensure the successful delivery of assigned projects while maintaining the highest standards and fostering strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the line manager and Design Manager.
  • Regularly update and maintain Viewpoint (CDE), R Drive, Smart Waste, and Work Wallet.
  • Serve as the primary contact for site or office visitors and handle telephone inquiries as needed.
  • Support team members to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Strive for excellence in quality, service, and business performance.

Requirements:

  • Ability to meet deadlines independently.
  • Ensure all project documentation adheres to company standards, remains accurate, and is well-maintained.
  • Approve QA documents, ensuring correct workflow and file naming conventions.
  • Upload, edit, print, and distribute drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Apply common sense, good judgment, and environmental awareness.
  • Proficiency in Viewpoint, R Drive, and Work Wallet.
  • Strong typing skills.
  • Understanding of team members' roles and responsibilities, with a willingness to assist as needed.
