We're searching for full-time SEND Teaching Assistants in Watford who have worked with children, young people, or adults with special educational needs.
As an SEND Teaching Assistant, you will possess the following:
- Being a talented, dedicated and highly motivated educator.
- Support children with emotional and behavioral difficulties to enable them to effectively access the curriculum as a SEND Teaching Assistant.
- Demonstrate high levels of care, concern and ambition for our children.
- Have relevant skills and experience to serve a diverse student community including learners with ASC and SEMH as a SEND Teaching Assistant.
- Support SEND students and delivering activities on a 1:1 and small group basis.
- Experience in assessing, evaluating, and reporting on pupil progress
Requirements:
- Available to work 08:30 to 15:30, Monday to Friday
- Recent experience working with children in a school or alternate environment is preferential but you must have previous experience with children in some capacity in the UK
- Enjoy working with children and seeing them progress with their learning
- Already have or are willing to apply for a Child Only enhanced DBS
- Either live in Watford or within a commutable distance
