To join a dedicated and diligent team in Watford, Randstad is presently searching for a Teaching Assistant who is energetic, composed, and organised. You'll be responsible for helping the classroom teacher with various tasks including preparing lesson plans, grading papers, and providing one-on-one support for individual students who may need extra assistance. You'll also help to maintain a positive and productive learning environment for the students.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support in all areas of the primary curriculum
  • Organise the classroom and learning resources and create displays to encourage a
  • positive learning environment.
  • Managing behaviour and supporting the class teacher, planning, preparing and present
  • Support in lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class
  • Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience of all children
  • Working with small groups and 1:1
  • Have a flexible approach and ability to adapt resources on the spot
  • Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentations and Maintain discipline
