We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Watford, responsible for conducting routine Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks, planned maintenance, and reactive repairs. You will work closely with mobile engineers and be responsible for ensuring all operations run smoothly, meeting the high standards of health, safety, and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine PPM tasks and planned maintenance to meet scheduled dates.
  • Perform reactive repairs and respond to issues as they arise.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies for maintaining critical services at fixed line sites.
  • Maintain mechanical and electrical equipment, and assist with general building maintenance when needed.
  • Ensure accurate completion of all documentation related to maintenance and repairs.
  • Uphold high standards of health and safety in all aspects of the job.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a commercial environment.
  • Completion of an electrical apprenticeship and/or City & Guilds qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, particularly in modern critical environments, including DC electrical systems.
  • Experience in critical environments is desirable.
Additional Information:
  • Shift Pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off (rotating days and nights).
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
  • Security Clearance: BPSS (pre-employment).
  • Employment Type: Full-time, permanent.
