Are you an electrical technician looking to build a long-term career in the fast-growing data centre industry?

The company is a specialist in the design, installation, and servicing of critical power and energy management systems for data centres across the South East. (Berkshire and Hertfordshire in particular) As demand continues to grow, they’re looking to hire an engineer with an electrical engineering background who is eager to learn and develop in the field of power and BEMS (Building Energy Management Systems).

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in BEMS, HVAC controls, or related sectors such as industrial fire and security systems installation. If you’re new to BEMS but have a strong foundation in electrical systems and a real desire to learn, they’ll provide the structured training and support you need.

You’ll gain hands-on experience working with industry-leading systems such as Trend, Tridium, and EcoStruxure, learning how to configure, commission, and maintain advanced software-driven control systems used in modern data centre environments.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Installing and commissioning power and energy management systems at customer sites
  • Working across BEMS platforms and related control technologies
  • Learning to configure systems, develop graphics, and support control logic and software
  • Collaborating with experienced engineers and attending regular training
  • Occasionally visiting our office in Farnborough for meetings, training, and project support

What we’re looking for:

  • Background in electrical engineering or similar discipline
  • Experience in BEMS, HVAC, fire/security systems, or industrial controls (preferred)
  • Eagerness to learn software configuration, controls, and data centre technologies
  • Comfortable working on customer sites across the South East
  • Full UK driving licence
