We are seeking an enthusiastic Employee Relations Specialist for a 12 month FTC position in Watford (with hybrid working). The role will entail providing top-notch HR support, focusing on high volume Employee Relations cases from start to finish, within a fast-paced, engaging environment.

Client Details

Our client is a large organisation based in Watford and due to continued growth they are looking for an Employee Relations Specialist to join their team ASAP initially on a 12 month FTC basis. They are renowned for their commitment to excellence and their innovative approach to providing unparalleled experiences for their clientele.

Description

  • Managing Employee Relations cases effectively and within a timely manner
  • Advising and supporting managers on a range of HR issues
  • Ensuring all HR policies and procedures are up to date in line with current employment law
  • Developing HR policy and procedures to drive performance
  • Coaching line managers on best practice
  • Take ownership of more complex ER cases including gross misconduct
  • Ensuring HR matters are handled fairly and consistently in line with legal and company requirements
  • Assisting in the development of comprehensive HR strategies
  • Supporting the HR team with ad hoc tasks and projects

Profile

A successful candidate should have:

  • A strong understanding and experience in Employee Relations ranging from lower level to complex cases ideally within a fast paced, high volume background
  • Knowledge of UK employment laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Able to work in Watford circa 3 times per week
  • Ideally available to start at short notice
