Senior Health & Sustainability Programme Lead – 6-month contractOur client is a well-regarded charitable organisation who have a mission to drive action and make a tangible difference within the food and retail sector by answering the critical challenges the industry faces. They have an extensive partner list and far-reaching networks and a unite the sector as an impartial consultation service, with stakeholders including Government officials and academics to produce evidence-based insight and active forums for the collective good of society.They have a need to hire a Senior Health & Sustainability Programme Lead for a 6-month contract, joining their social impact team and ensure delivery of health and sustainability programmes.  This role works closely with industry stakeholders and internal departments and has responsibility for content development and maintaining high quality.  You will be required to work on site 2 days per week.Responsibilities
  • Lead key aspects of programme management and ensure success of programmes to maximise social impact.
  • Report on progress against KPI’s, identify risks and spot opportunities with oversight of the budget and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships and raise awareness of campaigns to drive health and sustainability programme engagement.
  • Coordinate research projects to produce recommendations and maintain the direction of work program to achieve goals.
Requirements
  • Prior sustainability or health experience gained from within the UK food industry.
  • Strong project Management skills, able to work under pressure and with flexibility to juggle priorities.
  • Strategic thinker, aware of political and industry challenges and changes that will impact work programmes.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to influence, negotiate and navigate with professionalism. Along with good written and presentation skills.
  • Preferably educated to master’s degree level in a relevant subject (health, food technology, sustainability or behaviour change).
