We are seeking an Interim Finance Director to provide financial leadership and support during a period of transition. This role requires a commercially minded finance professional with a proven track record of driving financial performance, managing risk, and delivering robust financial controls.
The Finance Director will work closely with the CFO, senior leadership team, and key stakeholders to provide financial insights that shape business strategy, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure financial compliance.
Key Responsibilities:-
Partner with the CFO and executive team to drive financial planning, forecasting, and long-term growth strategies.

Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts, statutory reporting (FRS102 & UK GAAP), and board-level financial presentations.

Lead the annual budgeting process, financial modeling, and rolling forecasts to support business decision-making.

Monitor and manage cashflow, funding requirements, and investment strategies to ensure financial stability.

Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and audit requirements, working closely with external auditors.

Drive cost control measures, process improvements, and financial efficiencies across the business.

Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring strong financial governance and best practices.

Act as a key financial advisor to senior leadership, board members, and external partners.

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 8+ years of post-qualification experience.

Proven experience in a Finance Director, Financial Controller, or senior finance leadership role.

Strong technical knowledge of FRS102, UK GAAP, and compliance regulations.

Commercial acumen with experience in business partnering, financial strategy, and performance improvement.

Strong leadership and team management experience.

Advanced proficiency in financial systems, ERP software, and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
