Role Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality tax advisory services to a broad range of clients, including SMEs, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals
  • Manage and develop relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities for value-added services
  • Lead on complex tax planning assignments, including restructuring, R&D tax credits, and cross-border taxation
  • Oversee the preparation and review of corporate and personal tax returns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Support business development activities, contributing to the firm’s growth by identifying and pursuing new client opportunities
  • Mentor and develop junior tax professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence
  • Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation, ensuring clients receive proactive and relevant advice

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified CTA, ACA, or ACCA with a strong background in tax advisory
  • At least three years’ post-qualification experience in a similar role within a mid-tier or large accountancy practice
  • Comprehensive knowledge of UK tax legislation, including corporate, personal, and international tax
  • Proven ability to manage complex tax projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to clients and colleagues
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience managing or supervising teams
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a commercial approach to client service
