Main duties of the job
Assess, plan, and evaluate care for patients and their relatives without direct supervision.
Undertake all different types of physiology procedures including, Ambulatory Monitoring, ECG, Echocardiography, Exercise Tolerance Testing, Cardiac Angiography procedures, Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiac Rhythm Management procedures.

Job description
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of cardiac anatomy, conditions, and pathologies.
- Perform resting 12-lead ECG acquisition and interpretation in accordance with SCST standards.
- Set up and fit various ambulatory ECG monitors.
- Set up and fit ambulatory BP monitors.
- Conduct advanced technical analysis of ambulatory ECG data.
- Independently produce ambulatory ECG reports to a highly professional standard.
- Competently interpret ILR/ICM recordings.
- Assist in bradycardia and complex device follow-up clinics.
- Interpret remote PPM transmission data on various remote platforms and produce comprehensive, technical reports.
Person Specification &Qualifications
- BSc Clinical Physiology or RCCP accreditation.
- Demonstrable post qualification experience in a broad range of cardiac physiological procedures.
