They specialise in Mechanical & Electrical, Airflow/ Ventilation, Controls, Sustainable Solutions, Service & Maintenance. With a strong reputation for quality and customer satisfaction, they continue to expand their services and are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team. 聽 Key Responsibilities: 聽 路Build and establish new relationships with Facilities Managers (FM) and end-user clients. 路Manage and grow existing relationships while identifying opportunities for expansion. 路Research and identify new potential markets and customers. 路Develop and execute a sales strategy for your customer base. 路Respond to and follow up on sales inquiries and leads in a timely manner. 路Conduct site surveys and provide client presentations. 路Proactively target decision-makers and schedule appointments. 路Understand and interpret customer requirements, providing tailored solutions. 路Present and communicate the benefits of energy efficiency and recommend upgrades to maximise efficiency of existing systems. 路Prepare and present accurate, professional quotations. 路Negotiate and close sales to meet targets. 路Administer customer accounts and maintain a CRM database. 路Provide regular reports to the management team. 路Monitor and report on sales activities to achieve agreed targets. 路Support marketing efforts by attending trade shows, conferences, and other relevant events. 聽 Experience & Skills Required: 聽 路Proven track record of achieving business growth and customer satisfaction. 路Experience in building services or HVAC is an advantage, but not essential if the candidate demonstrates the right skills and attributes. 路Experience in selling to end users, contractors, and Facilities Management companies is desirable. 路Knowledge of the London and Home Counties market is beneficial. 路Strong business skills, including excellent written and verbal communication, planning, presentation, and organisational abilities. 路Financial and mathematical acumen is essential. 路Ability to foster a collaborative environment, encouraging initiative and teamwork. 路Strong problem-solving capabilities. 路High level of integrity, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box. 路A willingness to travel within the region.
