This role sits within our Private Sector FM business division that provides catering, cleaning, hard services, pest control, and security services to a wide range of prestigious clients, within the Venues market.

About The Role:Job OverviewOCS is seeking a dedicated Mailroom Supervisor to ensure the efficient handling of all incoming and outgoing mail. This role also includes setting up meeting rooms within the office environment.Main responsibilities

  • Lead a small team through portage and mailroom task
  • Distribute daily and weekly tasks and complete projects requirements
  • Ensure mailroom is appropriately manned during operational hours 08:00 to 16:30 Monday to Friday.
  • All employees working in the mailroom are to be trained specifically for manual handling. Suitable equipment is provided and maintained.
  • Carry out deliveries and collections each day to the correct delivery point at the agreed times as per the local arrangements.
  • Manage the postal franking service to ensure the most cost effective means of delivery and optimisation of the Royal Mail pricing structure.
  • All out-of-hours mail, courier and other packages are to be signed for via security and processed as soon as the post team arrives
  • Setting up and turning around rooms to the layout required by clients
  • Storing equipment and furniture securely and appropriately when not in use
  • Supporting the movement of goods and furniture throughout the building

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel.
  • Excellent customer service track record, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good attention to detail and level of accuracy.

Conditions of Work:This position will involve a flexible rota based on a 40 hour working week operating a Monday to Friday working week.How to Apply:
