Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

As one of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will maintain, calibrate, repair, and improve production and utility equipment within the Engineering Department. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency, resolve issues effectively, and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

* Engineering and Maintenance.

* Perform maintenance and repairs on pharmaceutical utilities, process equipment, and associated systems.

* Support reactive and planned maintenance activities, minimising risks to production.

* Communication and collaboration.

* Liaise with Engineering, Process, Quality Assurance (QA), and Planning teams to ensure smooth operations.

* Lead and coordinate responses to technical issues, maintaining clear communication with relevant teams.

* Compliance and safety.

* Ensure all activities comply with GMP standards and pharmaceutical regulations.

* Maintain accurate documentation, including work orders and calibration records.

* Continuous improvement.

* Optimise engineering processes through innovation and teamwork.

* Participate in fault finding, root cause analysis, and technical training.

About you

You will have experience in engineering and maintenance within pharmaceutical, food, brewing or manufacturing environments. You will be proficient in sterile steam systems, purified water systems, HVAC, and filling line equipment and will have strong problem-solving, communication, and CMMS skills.

You must be hands-on therefore a degree is not essential if you have been apprenticeship trained. You must have the flexibility to work a 24/7 or double-day shift pattern.
