We are working with a property management company in North West London, who are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Manager.

What will you be doing?

  • Develop contractual relationship and services provided by specialist H&S and Fire Safety consultants.
  • Assist functional managers in H&S strategies and review the progress of compliance activities.
  • Support managers in obtaining risk mitigation
  • Support managers in implementing interim measures to mitigate risk.
  • Maintain and review records of all incidents and accidents
  • Ensure all H&S activities are compliant with current legislation and best practice.
  • Review and ensure all blocks have up to date H&S and FRA including appropriate signage.
  • Manage electronic data and ensure e-mails and calls are responded within 24hrs.
  • Liaise directly with Head of Technical as necessary to progress any task, project and meet deadlines. .
  • Maintain/create info packs to Operational Team on site and off site
  • Verify all blocks have up to date H&S and FRA including appropriate signage.
  • Ensure H&S policies and processes are in line with current legislation and best practice.
  • All blocks built prior to 2000 have asbestos reports and those post 2000 have confirmation from the developer that no asbestos was used in the construction of the building.
  • To be a part of training sessions and team events.
  • To attend external training events for progression. After training/events you will prepare and deliver a relevant session to the team.
  • Alert Head of Technical Services of any non-compliance matters that may arise.
  • Manage, support and assist the Facilities Assistant
  • Quantify risk limits
  • Communicate to key stakeholders regarding the risk profile of the business

What will you bring?

  • Excellent knowledge of property management principles and procedures.
  • Good understand of Health and safety aspects
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good knowledge of QUBE computer system.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good understanding of property compliance legalisation and best practice
  • Excellent understanding of RAMS
  • Develop and implement strategies, systems, and policies.
  • Able to lead, develop and influence other teams across the business to deliver an excellent client and customer experience.
  • NEBOSH qualified
  • IOSH qualified
  • Legionella qualified
