DT Teacher

We are working with a large and well-respected secondary school in Watford to recruit an enthusiastic and skilled Design Technology Teacher specialising in Resistant Materials. Role: Design Technology Teacher (Resistant Materials)Location: Watford, HertfordshireSalary: £160-£250 per day (depending on experience)Start Date: January 2025

As the DT Teacher, you will:

• Teach Resistant Materials to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Deliver engaging and practical lessons that inspire creativity and innovation.
• Encourage students to develop their technical and problem-solving skills.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Design and Technology department to share ideas and resources.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching Resistant Materials or a related DT specialism at the secondary level.
• Demonstrates a strong knowledge of the DT curriculum and the ability to teach practical skills effectively.
• Is passionate about inspiring students and helping them achieve their full potential.
• Can work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
