Based in their Watford office, the successful candidate will assist in developing new applications and enhancements. Supporting the day-to-day operations, they will also have the unique opportunity to steer the overall direction of development at the company.
This role will allow the successful candidate to refine their software development approach and principles while broadening their own skills. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is motivated, adaptable and resourceful. Someone who has a keen interest in software and an eagerness to learn and is familiar with the Microsoft estate.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and support in-house applications, including legacy applications.
Support core business applications.
Interact with business users to address any issues they may have.
Perform initial problem analysis.
Participate in testing of Updates and Upgrades to business applications.
Provide information by collecting, analysing, and summarizing development and service issues.
Developing new applications as required

EXPERIENCE PROFILE
Desirable
Knowledge of basic coding languages including C# and JavaScript.
Basic programming experience.
Knowledge of databases and operating systems.
Good working knowledge of inventory systems and Microsoft Office software.
Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
Detail-oriented.
