A leading engineering / R&D organisation with multiple sites across the UK are looking to add Embedded Software Engineering talent to their Watford location, just West of London in Hertfordshire. As an Embedded Software Engineer you'll take responsibility for developing Linux device drivers, programming in C. You'll additionally assist with multi-threaded applications and developing server applications using Rust.
Key skills required for this Embedded Software Engineer job include:
- Strong experience in programming embedded linux device drivers using C.
- Experience with Rust for multi-threaded server programming.
- Exposure to kernel driver development.
- Experience in a 'real-world' engineering environment. Ideally highly regulated, i.e: aerospace, defence, satellite communications, etc.
Ability to obtain SC clearance will also be required for this role (5 years + in the UK for record checks is ideal).
Remote working is available with monthly onsite meetings at the Watford offices.
