Network & IT Programming Engineer is required to join a leading manufacturing Company based in Watford and paying up to £50k. This role offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in assisting their users based in the London office. You will be responsible for numerous aspects of Networking, Troubleshooting hardware/software as well as programming various devices through the use of programming languages such as C or C++.

The Network & IT Programming Engineer will be required to have solid experience in networking, programming languages such as C or C++ and be familiar with website maintenance or web marketing activities. You would be expected to hit the ground running, ensuring the team can deliver the excellent user support they are known for.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

  • Windows Servers
  • Windows firewalls (mostly Windows 10)
  • Endpoint Security eg SentinelOne
  • WindowsServers (Windows Server 2016,2019, 2022, Exchange Server 2016, SQL Server)
  • Hyper V
  • Server hardening for above
  • Sonicwall firewalls
  • Network security, VLANs, switching, routing
  • Telecoms (phone providers, ISPs etc.)
  • Programming Language Experience (C,
  • Linux (limited)
  • Website Maintenance
  • Disaster recovery/archiving/backups
