Are you someone with Service Design and Transition experience, at manager level, looking for a new contract role? My global client is looking for someone to join ASAP in a new contract position they have available. This role is to manage the Service Introduction of New/Changed IT Services to one or more company areas. The key focus is to ensure all services that are delivered into the live operation are implemented in a controlled manner and are fit for purpose. You will own and be accountable for all aspects of the Service Design & Transition process, including development, governance, compliance, reporting and continual improvement.Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure clear Service Design and support model
  • Ensure Knowledge Transfer and Knowledge articles are created and catalogued
  • Collect & update non-discoverable attributes for CMDB
  • Identify any new Service or Access request items
  • Maintain Service Design & Transition global epic tracker

The experience required for this role includes:

  • Strong communications skills on all levels and the ability to deliver services across different areas
  • Excellent working knowledge of ITIL V3 and/or ITIL 4
  • A proven and demonstrable understanding of IT Service Design/Transition/Introduction and the practise of having implemented this into/across value streams.
